Madama Butterfly is also summoned to perform a Torture Attack against Hideous. Madama Butterfly also takes part in new Climax Finishers of her own against angels, such as Valiance. The demoness returns in Bayonetta 2 and takes more of a corporeal form. Instead of just her hands and feet, Butterfly's upper body can be manifested in a headbutt motion during Umbran Climax and she is fully summoned against an out-of-control Gomorrah and an eventual clash with Temperantia. If a counter-attack is performed on an Inspired, multiple limbs will appear and she will beat the angel to death. After the second time guiding Sapientia to Phantasmaraneae, Madama Butterfly will then proceed to rip off his wings. Her hands are also summoned against Sapientia, guiding the monstrous Auditio towards Phantasmaraneae and punching him back down whenever he tries to rear up. When executing a double jump, her wings manifest to add more height in her jumps and can even allow Bayonetta to glide short distances.Īpart from use in movement and Wicked Weaves, Madama Butterfly's limbs are manifested during several Torture and Climax Attacks (mainly against Applauds and Affinities) in the first game.
